Join us for a Holiday Book Sale Extravaganza!

November 27 – December 1: Adult Fiction and Mass Market (pocket) Paperbacks (includes Large Print)

December 4-9: Childrens and Young Adult (teen) books

December 11-16: Audio Books, DVDs, BluRays, and Sheet Music

December 18-22: Adult Nonfiction (including local history and Large Print)

December 26 – 29: Holiday Leftovers – If you missed a week, check this one out as the best of what didn’t go will be served as leftovers, one more time.

All items first come, first serve. We do not have an inventory of what we have available. But if there are too many items for day one – we will keep adding all week.

Free will donation. Please make checkes payable to: Friends of the Library or FOL

All proceeds go to the Friends of the Library and help support non-budgeted North Platte Public Library projects and services.

Winter 2023 Book Sale Jan 9 – Feb 11

North Platte Public Library will be hosting a Winter 2023 Book Sale event. Each week will feature different sale items.

Weekly Schedule of Focused Sale Items

  • Week 1: January 9 – 14, 2023: Hardcover and Trade FICTION and LARGE PRINT
  • Week 2: January 17 – 21, 2023: Mass Market (Pocket) PAPERBACKS, AUDIOBOOKS, and DVDS
  • Week 3: January 23 – 28, 2023: CHILDREN’S and YOUNG ADULT
  • Week 4: January 30 – February 4, 2023: NONFICTION
  • Week 5 (Last Chance): February 6 – 11, 2023: Last Chance REMAINDERS

FOL Spring Book Sale

Due to the evolving COVID-19 Pandemic, the Friends of the Library have made the decision to CANCEL the Spring 2020 Book Sale. Our books are being sorted by Library Staff during their closure for shipment to our online resale vendor, Thrift Books. We hope to be back for our Fall 2020 Book Sale after this crisis subsides. In the meantime, practice social distancing, wash your hands, and stay healthy!
