It is a great way to get great deals on good used books and the money you spend directly supports Friends of the Library projects at North Platte Public Library. Approximately 175 people went on the tour Saturday, July 16th. It was a hot day, but everyone had a good time. The event raised about $1,650 for the NPPL Foundation. Thank you to the home owners who prepared their beautiful yards, the donors who provided raffle prizes, the workshop presenters for sharing their knowledge, the volunteers for their dedication and service, and last but not least the tourists who purchased tickets.
